On July 15, Ambassador Sebastián Sayús presented letter of credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, who was accompanied at the ceremony and subsequent meeting by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi.  At this meeting, the friendly bond that has characterized more than 70 years of diplomatic relations and the possibilities of expanding cooperation between both countries was highlighted.
